Woodland Adventures
Woodland Adventures offers children from schools in towns and cities a unique opportunity to learn through experiencing nature.
Our pilot is designed to offer children rich experiential learning in a safe and structured way. Guided by gifted and qualified leaders, the course teaches social and life skills, bush crafts and nature awareness in both the classroom and outdoors.
In the course of a year, children develop a growing relationship with nature over several visits to a woodland site, culminating in an overnight camp. The experience is consolidated by instructors through regular visits to the school.
The programme meets key requirements of National Curriculum's KS 2.
